Set in the Franschhoek Valley at the confluence of the Berg and Dwars Rivers, our vineyards are rooted in ancient soils shaped over millions of years. For the Dauphin family, wine has always been about more than what is in the bottle. It is about inspiration, creativity and the pleasure of sharing something remarkable. That philosophy continues to guide Allée Bleue today, from our estate-grown wines to our carefully selected old-vine vineyards and limited releases.
At the heart of our cellar is winemaker Van Zyl du Toit, who has shaped the Allée Bleue style since 2009. His approach combines intuition with meticulous attention to detail, allowing each cultivar and vineyard to express its individual character.
The result is a collection of wines that speaks of where we come from — made to be discovered, enjoyed and, above all, shared.

Each wine begins with the careful selection of grapes from vineyards chosen for their ability to express something truly individual. In the cellar, winemaker Van Zyl du Toit and his team work with precision and restraint, allowing cultivar, site and vintage to take centre stage.
These are not wines defined by volume, but by character. Produced in limited quantities, the Reserve Collection gives us the freedom to explore, refine and ultimately bottle the very best expression of what our vineyards and cellar can achieve.
