We are planning an Easter weekend filled with family fun in the extensive gardens and various eateries of this historic estate. On Good Friday and Easter Saturday, the popular picnics will feature some Easter inspiration from Executive Chef Gordon Dovey and will give family groups and friends the chance to enjoy the stunning outdoors setting at the Estate whilst relaxing over this long weekend.
Easter Sunday sees all the stops being pulled out with an Easter Buffet featuring favourites like freshly baked breads, roast Karoo lamb, Cape Malay pickled fish, deboned chicken, lots of salads and veggie accompaniments and a scrumptious dessert table to indulge in at the end of the meal for only R385 ex vat pp.
In our Picnic area guests can treat themselves to our seated, serviced easter-inspired Chicnic (R695 for a basket for 2) or set up their own seating area somewhere in the gardens with our eco-friendly Picnic-on-the-Go at only R400 for a double basket. Both double baskets include a bottle of wine to share. Kiddies picnics and fun activities as well as vegetarian options make up the selection.
Easter Monday is family day and we’d love you to spend some time with us enjoying our picnics, having lunch in the Bistro or just popping in for wine tasting and platters in the tasting room.
